As Father’s Day approaches, I want to take a moment to celebrate the man at the center of everything we do here at Bio Farm—my husband, Enoque.

If you’ve ever picked up a box of our farm fresh food, or seen our beautiful animals grazing, you’ve witnessed the fruit of his tireless labor. Enoque is the heartbeat of this farm—the one who carries the weight of early mornings, late nights, and everything in between.

He doesn’t ask for recognition, but this month, I’m giving it anyway.

From dawn to dusk (and often beyond), Enoque is out there:
Fixing what’s broken.
Feeding what’s hungry.
Tending what’s growing.
Teaching what matters.

He leads with steady hands, strong values, and unshakable commitment—to the land, our family, and a way of life that honors both.

This farm began as his vision: a dream rooted in simplicity, integrity, and connection to the land. What was once an idea became reality because of his faith, determination, and daily commitment. Bio Farm exists because of him.

When something breaks, he figures it out. When a challenge comes, he leans in. He’s a farmer, a builder, a steward—and the reason this dream continues to grow.

The Role of Men on the Farm

Men often take on the hardest, messiest work on the farm—the physical labor that’s dirty, exhausting, and relentless. They quite literally get the sh*t end of the stick, dealing with the problems no one else wants to face: broken equipment, late-night emergencies, and the heartbreak of loss and death that come with caring for living things. It’s a demanding role filled with sweat, sacrifice, and grit, yet it’s often unseen and underappreciated.

So today, I want to say:
Thank you, Enoque.
For your grit, your leadership, your unshakable devotion to this farm—and for staying true to the vision that started it all.

And to all the hardworking fathers and men like you who give their energy to something greater than themselves—we honor you this Father’s Day.

Thank you!

A Balanced Return to the Basics

As conversations around food and health continue to evolve, many of us are hearing once again about the updated food pyramid and what it means for our families. While the graphics and terminology may change, the heart of the message feels familiar: balance, nourishment, and stewardship of the bodies we’ve been given.

Give the Gift of Nourishment This Season

As the holidays approach, it’s easy to fall back on familiar gifts — cozy socks, candles, gadgets. But this year, we invite you to give something a little different… something that truly nourishes.
